ARCH 4010: Advanced Design
The objective of ARCH 4010: Advanced Design is to develop design skills utilizing contemporary digital techniques within the context of a theoretical and critical understanding of geometry in the representation and construction of architecture. ARCH 4010 is co-requisite with ARCH 4110: Geometry in Architecture, a theory course with lectures and analytical exercises directly related to the work in the advanced design studio. Projects in ARCH 4010 involve the development of a work of architecture in response to a specific program, in a specific location and utilizing specific materials and means of construction.
