Can the High Line's success be replicated in Philadelphia? In the fall of 2012, Diana Fernandez, Associate ASLA, Amy Syverson, Associate ASLA, and Susan Kolber, Student Affiliate ASLA, three undergraduate students, created some buzz around an abandoned stretch of the Reading Railroad that runs above and below the city. The students exhibited plans made in landscape architecture studios at Temple University and architecture studios at the University of Pennsylvania in Next City's Storefront for Urban Innovation.
