Brian Szymanik is a practicing architect and principal of Studio 6mm (www.studio6mm.com), an award-winning design, research and fabrication studio based in Philadelphia. Brian's professional work serves primarily mission-driven non-profit organizations in and around the Philadelphia metropolitan region. Brian's teaching and research interests consider materiality and its effects, community building and social justice, the impact of architecture on marginalized communities, and the performance of constructed environments at multiple scales.
