Stéphanie C. Feldman (MArch’05) is a registered architect and educator who teaches Design Studio and seminars on Contemporary Japanese Architecture. Ms. Feldman’s research interest lies in the subtle permanence of traditional principles in contemporary Japanese architectural, interior, and urban design. Ms. Feldman owes her in-depth understanding of the practical and theoretical dimensions of architecture and design to a rich blend of educational, work, and life experiences around the world. She received her BA in Architecture and Urban Studies from Yale University, her Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and has studied at the Sorbonne (Paris) and Waseda University (Tokyo). Prior to founding her own firm, ScF Designs, Ms. Feldman worked at FxFowle/FxCollaborative (New York), WRT (Philadelphia), WRT/Solomon ETC (San Francisco), and Kisho Kurokawa and Associates (Tokyo).
