Due to the required six-semester design studio sequence, transferring and completing the requirements for the Major in Architecture by the end of the fourth year is an option only if the applicant applies during the first year to transfer to the College of Arts & Sciences beginning in the fall of the second year and has already completed a design studio course equivalent to ARCH 1020: Introduction to Design. Upon acceptance into the College of Arts & Sciences, transfer students should contact Katherine Linton, Administrative Coordinator, who will guide them through the design studio equivalency review process for ARCH 1020.
