Transfer applications are made to the Office of Admissions in College of Arts & Sciences. A portfolio is required for transfer applicants who intend to declare a Major in Architecture. Learn more
Due to the required six-semester design studio sequence, transferring and completing the requirements for the Major in Architecture by the end of the senior year is an option only if the applicant applies during the freshman year to transfer to the College of Arts & Sciences beginning in the fall of the sophomore year and has already completed a design studio equivalent to ARCH 102: Introduction to Design. Upon acceptance into the College of Arts & Sciences, transfer students should contact Katherine Linton, Administrative Coordinator, who will guide them through the design studio equivalency review process for ARCH 102.
